Colloidal Gold in Solid-Phase Assays. A Review

This review summarizes the data on the application of colloidal gold preparations in solid-phase assays. The possibilities to analyze soluble and particle antigens adsorbed on solid carriers, and the limitations imposed by the application of colloidal gold preparations are considered. Certain aspects of the technology of preparation and application of colloidal gold preparations are discussed.
